Aayla Cannonbolt-Starhunter was the third-born child of Satine Starhunter and Corran Cannonbolt. Unlike her older brother and sister, Ace and Padme, Aayla had blonde hair, like her mother. She, like both of her parents and her siblings, had blue eyes.
Both Padme and Ace were confident and outgoing, but little Aayla was very shy and quiet. When her older brother and sister discovered that the three of them were secrets, Aayla was stunned, and almost unable to take in the news. But she forgave her parents, like Padme. Ace, on the other hand, started to fall to the dark side when he was unable to forgive their parents. Twice, he tried to take his baby sister as a hostage to hurt his parents. Aayla begged her brother to find forgiveness in his heart. She was hurt when he could not do so. The second time Aayla was taken hostage by her brother, he also beat her badly. She was left with several scars, including one just above her left eye. After that, whenever her brother was angry, Aayla tended to become incredibly nervous, and often ill.
As an adult, Aayla served as a handmaiden to Izzy Bloodtalon, the then leader of The Alliance For Peace, in their fight against the Empire.
